Truck driver

Job Description Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Safely operate trucks and heavy vehicles to transport construction materials, machinery, and equipment to project sites. Deliver and collect materials between suppliers, depots, and construction sites according to daily schedules. Load, secure, transport, and unload materials using appropriate load restraint methods. Conduct daily vehicle safety inspections and report any faults or maintenance requirements. Ensure all deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with road transport regulations. Assist site teams with loading, unloading, and positioning materials and equipment where required. Maintain delivery records, vehicle logbooks, and other transport documentation. Follow company Health and Safety policies and comply with all site safety requirements. Communicate effectively with site supervisors, suppliers, and clients regarding delivery schedules. Keep vehicles clean, roadworthy, and properly maintained. Job Requirements At least one year of working experience in relevant industry. Work may involve early mornings, nights, and weekends. Must be physically fit to handle loading, unloading, and long driving hours. Physical fitness and manual dexterity.
