You will rotate through Tauranga Hospital, with an opportunity to work in Whakatāne Hospital for a 13-week period. The training program is accredited by the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP), offering both basic and advanced levels of training. The psychiatric team is well-established and dedicated to providing high-quality mental health care across the Bay of Plenty region, with services spanning both Tauranga and Whakatāne Hospitals.**About you**As a Psychiatric Registrar, you will have a strong passion for psychiatry and a commitment to enhancing the mental well-being of those in the community. You will hold an MBChB or equivalent medical qualification, and full registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ). A keen interest in psychiatry and a dedication to pursuing RANZCP-accredited training are essential. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team are key.
