Operations Supervisor, Afternoon Shift Location: Mosgiel, NZ Summary Play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations on the afternoon shift, ensuring effective delivery of services to our valued customers. About the role As the afternoon shift Supervisor, you will oversee the day‑to‑day operations of our facility in Mosgiel, ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of our services to our valued clients. This is a full‑time position leading a team of up to 12‑15 team members. The afternoon shift begins at 3:30pm in our peak season (September to May) and 1:30pm in the winter period. What you'll be doing Supervising and coordinating the work of a team of warehouse operatives to ensure all tasks are completed to a high standard and within set timelines Monitoring and optimising warehouse workflows and processes to drive productivity and operational excellence Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations Providing regular reporting and performance updates to senior management Fostering a positive, co‑operative and safety‑focused work culture Assisting with the training and development of warehouse staff What we're looking for Experience (3+ years) in a warehouse or logistics operations supervisory role Strong understanding of warehouse management systems and inventory control processes Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills Problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities to address operational challenges Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a logistics environment A cooperative and adaptable relationship builder with a focus on continuous improvement What we offer Competitive remuneration package Ongoing training and development opportunities Supportive and co‑operative work environment Opportunities for career progression within our growing organisation Retail discounts as some of NewZealand's largest retailers (via the Boost Scheme) 8 hours of paid volunteer time to contribute in the community An employee assistance programme Why Lineage?
