Job Description

This is more than a planning role - it’s where commercial ambition meets operational execution. As an Integrated Planner, you’ll sit at the centre of Healthcare by Douglas’ end-to-end supply chain, turning forecasts into reliable supply plans and making sure our products reach customers on time, in full, and at the right cost. You’ll own the supply side of our planning while staying closely connected to demand -- balancing production, materials, inventory and external supply to keep the business running smoothly. Your work will directly shape service levels, inventory performance, cost efficiency and growth. If you’re motivated by solving supply chain problems, optimising how things run and turning data into insight, then this is your opportunity. What You’ll Do Supply Planning You’ll own supply planning end to end across our internal and external supply network: Create and maintain production and replenishment plans (purchase orders and stock transfer orders) for finished goods from our Fiji manufacturing site, contract manufacturers and agency partners. Develop and maintain medium to long-term supply and production plans that balance demand, inventory targets and constraints across production, materials and external supply. Monitor and adjust plans in response to demand shifts, production performance and supply constraints. Provide rolling forecasts and supply visibility to suppliers and contract manufacturers in line with vendor agreements. Integrated Planning Connecting demand, inventory and the wider IBP cycle to keep supply aligned to a trusted plan: Partner with demand planners and commercial teams to maintain a trusted consensus forecast, incorporating promotions, launches and market activity. Lead the monthly supply review as part of the IBP cycle. Set and maintain inventory targets and planning parameters (safety stock, reorder points, lead times, MOQ) to balance working capital against service-level targets. Represent supply, demand and inventory insights within the monthly IBP / S&OP cycle and leadership forums, providing scenario plans and clear recommendations. Track and report supplier performance (OTIF, lead-time adherence, forecast acceptance) and support supplier reviews and SRM initiatives. Supply Chain Optimisation & Analytics Identify and implement improvements that streamline planning workflows and remove inefficiencies across supply, materials and inventory. Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and analytical tools that turn service, inventory, forecast accuracy and supplier data into actionable insight. Lead ABC/XYZ segmentation across the HBD group to inform inventory policies, safety stock and service-level settings. Review and challenge planning parameters, policies and assumptions to improve service, inventory and cost performance. Partner with IT to drive system enhancements, automation and digitisation, and explore practical applications of AI in planning. What You’ll Bring 4–5 years’ experience in supply chain planning, with a strong supply, production or materials planning background Strong understanding of supply and demand planning best practices Experience working within S&OP / IBP frameworks Advanced Excel skills, plus experience building and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reporting Confident with ABC/XYZ analysis and inventory segmentation Experience in FMCG, consumer health or pharmaceutical environments would be an advantage APICS, IBF, or NZPICS certification advantageous Analytical and commercially aware, with a drive to optimise how things run A confident collaborator who can influence across teams Driven to continuously improve how things are done Career growth – we’re big on developing our people and promoting from within.
