Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our growing business. This role is responsible for identifying growth opportunities, expanding market presence, strengthening customer relationships, and supporting the development and execution of strategic marketing and business initiatives. Position: Business Development Manager Hourly rate: $35 TO $40 Guaranteed hours: 30 per week Maximum hours: 55 per week Location: Wellington Responsibilities Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships with retailers, wholesalers, and key decision-makers. Identifying new business opportunities, markets, and customer segments for growth. Researching industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to develop strategies for sales and market expansion. Developing and delivering tailored proposals, presentations, and product pitches. Negotiating contracts, pricing, and terms with clients while ensuring profitability. Collaborating with internal teams (warehouse, logistics, sales, and marketing) to ensure seamless product delivery and customer satisfaction. Representing Dandi Candy at trade shows, networking events, and client meetings to promote our products and services. Monitoring sales performance, preparing reports, and providing insights on progress against targets. Developing and implementing promotional campaigns to increase brand awareness and drive sales. Working closely with management to set and achieve sales targets and strategic business goals. Ensuring customer concerns are resolved quickly and effectively to maintain satisfaction and loyalty. Continuously seeking opportunities to improve processes, systems, and the overall customer experience. Requirements Bachelor degree or higher qualification, or at least five years of relevant experience Strong market research, analytical, and strategic planning skills. Proven ability to identify and secure new business opportunities. Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills. Strong commercial awareness and customer-focused approach. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
