The Role We are looking for a dynamic, driven, and strategic Business Development Manager (BDM) to join the team. This isn’t your average standalone sales role. You will be the bridge between our commercial goals and our technical expertise, working hand‑in‑hand with our specialised Department Managers across a range of divisions. Responsibilities Hunt for high‑value business, focusing your efforts on the sectors and projects that yield the best profit margins. Inherit an existing database of warm clients to nurture, while proactively hunting for new market opportunities. Act as a synergistic link between sales and operations, collaborating closely with internal delivery teams to ensure that what you sell is executed flawlessly. Leverage the support of a talented, on‑site Marketing Specialist to help craft campaigns, generate leads, and sharpen your pitch. Requirements "The Hunter" mentality: you aren’t afraid to knock on doors, make cold calls, and build relationships from scratch. Industry knowledge: experience in electrical, building, or construction services is a massive advantage and you must be able to speak the language of our clients and tradies. Strategic thinker: ability to analyse where the highest margins are and align your sales strategy accordingly. Team player: a collaborative mindset is essential; you must enjoy working alongside operational managers to ensure client satisfaction.
