Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Medical Administrator to join a busy private medical clinic in Remuera for a 6-week temporary assignment . This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a professional healthcare environment and can hit the ground running. Hours: Monday to Friday 32.5 hours per week About the Role As the first point of contact for patients, you will provide exceptional administrative support and help ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the clinic. Key responsibilities include: Scheduling and managing patient appointments using Cliniko Responding to patient enquiries via phone and email Welcoming patients and providing excellent customer service Maintaining accurate patient records General administrative and reception support Assisting with other office duties as required About You To be successful in this role you will have: Previous experience in a medical administration or medical reception role Essential: Experience using Cliniko Desirable: Experience using Elixir Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong organisational skills with great attention to detail The ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy clinic environment A professional, friendly, and compassionate approach What's on Offer Immediate start Monday to Friday hours – no weekends Opportunity to work within a supportive private healthcare team Competitive hourly rate If you have Cliniko experience and are available for a 6-week assignment, we'd love to hear from you.
