Youmay be asked to work in the inpatient, outpatient or community setting,although the main focus is likely to be inpatients. . There will be a wide range of aetiologies to cover, and stronggeneralist skills will be an advantage. Allwork will be with the adult population. This is a casual position where there are no set hours. Youwill be called upon on an as-per-needed basis, Monday to Friday, between the hours of 7.30AM to 5.30PM.The majority of work is likely to be at NelsonHospital. It would be an advantage ifyou were also able to travel to Wairau Hospital from time to time but this isnot a requirement.*Please view the position description for furtherinformation.***About the Team/Service/ Location**We have a district-wide speech-language therapy team. We currently have five SLTs working in Nelsonand three in Wairau. Most staff arepart-time. Team members work in flexibleroles across different aetiologies and settings.For more information on living and working in Nelson click here**About you**As a casual **Speech Language Therapist**, you will have: Arelevant qualification in speech-language therapy that is recognised andapproved by the New Zealand Speech-language Therapists' Association (NZSTA); Registeredmember with the NZSTA; Acurrent full driver's licence; Aminimum of two years' experience in the hospital setting is preferred.
