We welcome one and all to join us at the New Zealand Qualifications Authority.Mo te turanga | About the roleReporting to the Financial Accountant, you will predominately be completing core transactional processing, completing and assisting with regulatory and other financial reporting requirements, ensuring adequate process documentation is in place and assisting with process and system improvements.We are recruiting for two positions, with the following responsibilities shared across both roles, supported by a collaborative approach.In this role, you will share responsibility for:Processing purchase and sales invoices accurately and in a timely manner, including through relevant systems and interfacesEnsuring all data entry (including invoices) is appropriately approved and codedGenerating vendor payments and allocating these to the relevant invoicesProcessing customer receipts and applying them accurately to invoicesReconciling vendor and customer accounts, and taking appropriate action to resolve any reconciling differencesHe ahei au | What you'll bring to the roleAbility to meet deadlines and work under pressureWillingness to put in extra effort to meet deadlinesExperience in processing and dealing with customers / vendorsHave a demonstrable commitment to, and sensitivity towards equity issues and promoting the aspirations of Maori under the principles of the Treaty of WaitangiExperience in completing data entry and individual account reconciliationsTo be successful in this position, you will have:Relevant experience is vital.A tertiary qualification potentially leading towards a professional accountancy qualification is also desirable.Nga Painga o NZQA | Why choose NZQAJoin NZQA and help lift quality and trust across Aotearoa New Zealand's education system through world-class assessment, quality assurance and qualifications.
