GROUP OPERATIONS MANAGER

Salary: $95,000 – $120,000 Per Annum(Equivalent to approximately $45.67 – $57.69 per hour) Smart Genie Limited is the central management company for a growing group of businesses operating across retail, fuel, logistics, transport, cleaning, facility management, hospitality and future acquisitions throughout New Zealand. We provide strategic leadership, operational management, financial oversight and compliance support to our group companies. As our business portfolio continues to expand, we are seeking an experienced Group Operations Manager to lead operational excellence across multiple businesses. Key Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple group companies Develop and implement operational systems, procedures and performance standards Monitor business performance, profitability and operational efficiency Prepare management reports and recommendations for directors Assist with budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning Lead and support business managers across the group Drive continuous improvement initiatives Coordinate recruitment, onboarding and workforce planning activities Monitor customer service standards and operational compliance Support acquisitions, business integration and expansion projects Ensure compliance with company policies, employment obligations and health & safety requirements Liaise with suppliers, customers, contractors and external stakeholders Assist directors with growth strategies and business development initiatives Required Skills and Experience Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Commerce, Operations Management or related field, or equivalent industry experience Minimum 3 years relevant management experience Strong leadership and people management skills Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities Strong financial and commercial understanding Experience managing multiple business functions or locations Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and make sound business decisions What We Offer Competitive salary package Long-term career growth opportunities Exposure to multiple industries and business sectors Opportunity to participate in business acquisitions and expansion projects Supportive and professional working environment Leadership role within a rapidly growing business group #J-18808-Ljbffr
