Job Description This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Diesel Mechanic to join our friendly and supportive team in East Tamaki. You’ll be working alongside a skilled group of mechanics in our modern workshop, supported by the wider Auckland-based team. What you’ll be doing: Maintaining vehicle records by accurately completing all job sheets for inspections, servicing, and repairs Servicing and maintaining vehicles and equipment in line with company policy and vendor programmes Carrying out vehicle and body/unit servicing in accordance with our Preventative Maintenance Programme Promoting and maintaining safe working practices at all times Manage job processing through the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Requisition of necessary repair parts and consumables. Perform daily checks of all Vehicle Workshop tools and equipment to ensure they are serviceable and accounted for. Qualifications A Level 4 Heavy Diesel Trade NZQA Certificate or an equivalent international qualification recognised by NZQA as Level 4 Over 1 year proven experience in preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs of fleet trucks Preference will be given to those with over 1 year’s experience in hydraulic systems diagnostics and maintenance and/or automotive electrical/electronic fault diagnosis Over 1 year proven experience with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is an advantage but not essential A Class 4 Driver’s Licence is a strong advantage Additional Information 45 hours per week (Mon–Fri), with occasional Saturday work.
