Ongoing training and professional development opportunities About the Role We’re looking for a skilled and experienced machine operators for our Marsden Point port operation. We have positions available for Wheel Loader operators, Wheeled Material Handler operators and Terminal Tractor operators. These casual positions offer flexibility and is ideal for those with strong log handling experience. We are a 24/7 operation loading log vessels, so flexibility around shift work is required. Location Marsden Point Status Casual position, as and when required basis. Key Responsibilities Operate wheel loaders, material handlers and terminal tractors at the Marsden Point port. Safely arrange, transfer, and load logs within the yard and loading out to ship. Communicate clearly with the team to ensure safe and efficient operations. Key Requirements Proven experience operating wheel loaders and/or material handlers. Strong background in log handling. Willingness to train across multiple machines. Positive, safety-focused attitude. Restricted NZ Driver’s License minimum. Ability to work shift work. You must pass a pre-employment medical and drug test and be eligible to work in New Zealand.
