Permanent Palmerston North opportunity with 5 weeks' annual leave, flexible working and comprehensive benefits Te Whiwhinga Mahi - Our opportunity As an Administrator Housing Support, you'll play a key role in providing efficient and proactive administrative services that help our office operate effectively and support positive outcomes for our customers. You'll be a trusted member of the team, ensuring day‑to‑day operations run smoothly while helping colleagues deliver services to the communities we serve. Working alongside a dedicated team of customer‑facing roles, you'll provide a wide range of administrative and coordination support to ensure both our people and customers are set up for success. From managing communications and records to supporting events, scheduling and office operations, your contribution will be essential to the smooth running of the local office. As one of the first points of contact for customers visiting our office, you'll create a positive and welcoming experience while responding to enquiries and connecting people with the support they need. You'll also work closely with our Housing and Wellbeing Support teams, assisting with a variety of administrative activities that contribute to quality customer outcomes. We're looking for someone who enjoys variety, embraces change and is comfortable using technology to work efficiently and solve problems. This is a fast‑paced environment where priorities can shift quickly, so you'll need to be agile, adaptable and able to think on your feet. You'll take initiative, identify opportunities to improve the way things are done and bring a motivated, can‑do attitude to supporting both customers and colleagues. You Will Demonstrate Experience working in an administration role supporting multiple team members within a busy office environment Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work, adapt to changing demands and manage competing priorities effectively Confidence using technology and business systems, with the ability to quickly learn new tools and identify opportunities to improve processes A proactive and motivated approach, with the initiative to solve problems and support others without needing close supervision The ability to think on your feet, exercise sound judgement and respond calmly to unexpected situations Agility, resilience and flexibility, with the ability to perform well in a fast‑paced and changing environment Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate, high‑quality work Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues Sound judgement, discretion and an understanding of the importance of confidentiality Cultural awareness that supports an aligned approach to our customers' aspirations and preferences, particularly when working with Māori and Pasifika communities A current, full and clean New Zealand's driver's licence Nōu te rourou - What's in it for you?
