Role Description The Aluminium Joinery Estimator role is a full-time position based in Auckland. This role involves preparing accurate estimates and quotations for aluminium joinery and facade projects, including reviewing architectural drawings, specifications, and tender documents. The Estimator will liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal project teams to clarify requirements, obtain pricing, and ensure estimates are aligned with project budgets and timelines. Daily tasks include measuring and quantifying materials, updating cost databases, assessing risks, and supporting the sales and project management teams with cost‑related queries. The role also involves monitoring market prices, contributing to value engineering options, and maintaining clear documentation for all estimates and proposals. Qualifications Experience with estimating in construction or facade systems, ideally within aluminium joinery or related building envelope trades. Strong ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and tender documents. Proficiency with estimating or take‑off software, spreadsheets, and general computer applications for data analysis and documentation. Solid numerical, analytical, and problem‑solving skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail. Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with clients, suppliers, and cross‑functional internal teams. Knowledge of New Zealand building standards, industry practices, and basic contract or tender processes is an advantage. Relevant qualification in construction, quantity surveying, engineering, or a comparable field, or equivalent practical experience. Ability to work on‑site in Auckland, manage multiple deadlines, and maintain a proactive, safety‑conscious approach. #J-18808-Ljbffr
