Job Description
We are seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join Auckland Zoo’s Marketing, Communications and Growth team. The role involves planning, delivering and optimising integrated marketing campaigns that grow audiences, increase engagement and support the Zoo’s mission to inspire people to care for wildlife and the environment. Key responsibilities Plan, deliver and optimise integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, email and other marketing channels. Support the Zoo to deliver branded assets and maintain the brand visual ID. Coordinate marketing campaigns from planning through to execution, evaluation and reporting. Media planning and booking direct and with agency. Manage projects to deliver on time, on brand and on budget. Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to deliver integrated marketing initiatives. Monitor campaign performance and use insights to continually improve results. Contribute to audience growth, visitor engagement and community‑focused initiatives. Qualifications and Experience Experience delivering integrated marketing campaigns and communications. Project management capabilities. Confidence in learning new CRM systems, marketing platforms and digital tools. Excellent organisation, coordination, and time‑management skills. Strong relationship‑building and stakeholder engagement skills. Preferred Skills A genuine passion for wildlife conservation and Auckland Zoo’s mission. Curiosity, adaptability and a proactive, can‑do attitude. A collaborative approach and a strong work ethic. An interest in engaging diverse communities and growing audiences.
