Social Worker Orewa - Fixed Term / Secondment

Fixed-term secondment opportunity to May2027 for a SWRB-registered Social Worker. This role will be based at our Orewa site in Tāmaki Makaurau, with regular supervision and training opportunities. About the Role In this fast-paced role, you will work with other social services, agencies and providers to ensure the needs of children or young people and their families are fully met. Qualifications Registration with New Zealand’s Social Work Registration Board (SWRB) and current Annual Practicing Certificate A social worker qualification recognised by the SWRB A full, clean, current NZ driver's licence Excellent written and oral communication skills Demonstrated resilience, problem‑solving techniques and flexibility Excellent time management and organisational skills Strong PC and Microsoft Office Suite skills with excellent report‑writing skills Understanding and appreciation of cross‑cultural practices, particularly in regard to tikanga Māori and Pacific peoples’ culture Benefits Oranga Tamariki offers an impartial remuneration package ranging from $81,206 to $97,557 depending on experience.
