Careers Made Possible at Brian Perry Civil About The Role This role will see you supporting our new business team in the preparation of tenders and proposals. The role is at the core of the team and helps all elements of the process function efficiently. Responsibilities include developing and managing tender correspondence, maintaining records, filing, and ensuring the tender programme is coordinated. Work with the new business team to plan/manage tender opportunities. Assist with the preparation of tender submissions including expressions of interest, registrations of interest, and tenders within specified deadlines. Manage and compile packages for the supply chain, including correspondence management and document control. Manage all incoming/outgoing client documents. Document management in Prospect Manager and SharePoint. What You’ll Bring To The Role We’re looking for a self‑starter who can work autonomously, but as importantly be a team player and ultimately be the glue that holds the new business team together in a timely and effective manner. Previous administrative experience, ideally in supporting engineering and/or construction bid teams. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proven research or document compilation skills and preferably some experience writing proposals or briefs. Ability to demonstrate the ability to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment. Strategic thinking, planning, and coordinating ability. An excellent eye for detail. Exceptional organisational skills. Able to effectively negotiate and influence at all levels.
