Job Type: Permanent | Full Time Location: Christchurch, New Zealand Job Category: IT Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the full lifecycle of our infrastructure, cloud, platform, and applications. Deliver robust, scalable solutions across networks, cloud, security, and IoT. Lead our response to cybersecurity incidents and strengthen threat prevention. Manage vendor relationships, licensing, contracts, and SLA performance. Oversee disaster recovery planning and business continuity resilience. About You You’re an experienced people leader with a strong technical background and the ability to translate complex technology concepts into practical business outcomes. You enjoy building capable teams, fostering trusted relationships and creating environments where people can thrive. You bring strategic thinking alongside a hands‑on understanding of modern infrastructure and platform technologies. You lead by example, coaching and developing your people. You communicate technical concepts clearly at every level. You build strong, productive relationships with vendors and stakeholders. You are confident with budgets, forecasting and resource planning. You bring a continuous improvement mindset and Agile ways of working. Experience You’ll have a tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent experience) along with: 10+ years in technical leadership roles managing technology solutions. Advanced expertise across networking, security, cloud and IaaS/SaaS/PaaS. Extensive vendor management, contract negotiation and SLA monitoring. Working knowledge of frameworks such as ITIL, COBIT or ISO/IEC 27001. Hands‑on disaster recovery and business continuity experience.
