Solicitor - Employment

Overview Our highly regarded Employment Law team in Auckland is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced solicitor to join this leading practice. We welcome applications from employment specialists with 2–5 years’ PQE, from both boutique and large national firms. This is an opportunity to join a Tier 1 team and work alongside a collegial national group, led locally in Auckland by Gillian Service and June Hardacre. You will benefit from the breadth and variety of work on offer in one of New Zealand’s largest employment law practices, acting for a diverse client base including government agencies, listed companies, and emerging businesses. Your work will span the full spectrum of employment law matters, including: Protection of confidential information and restraints of trade Worker status, contingent workforces and flexible working models Industrial relations Health and safety, including bullying, harassment and wellbeing Privacy and regulatory matters Human rights and discrimination Change processes and best practice consultation Advising on legislative developments and their impact on employers We pride ourselves on being a friendly, supportive and high-performing team, offering an excellent environment for continued learning and career development.
