Learning Support Coordinator

Primary and intermediate (Years 1–8) / kura tuatahi, Certificated teacher English, Health and physical education, Learning languages, Mathematics and statistics, Science, Social sciences, Technology, Te reo Māori, The arts Massey Primary School is seeking a passionate and collaborative Learning Support Coordinator (LSC) to lead and coordinate learning support across our school. Working alongside the Senior Leadership team, SENCO, teachers, whānau and external agencies, you will play a key role in ensuring every learner is known, supported, and able to thrive. Key responsibilities Collaborating with staff and whānau to recognise and respond to learning and behavioral needs Overseeing and coordinating support for students requiring additional assistance Promoting and strengthening inclusive practices across the school Supporting the design, implementation, and review of learning and behavioural plans Maintaining the Learning Support Register Working alongside external agencies and specialist support services Preparing applications for learning and behavioural support Is a registered teacher Is experienced in supporting students with diverse learning and behavioural needs Is knowledgeable about the learning support system Is reflective, well‑organised with strong relationship‑building and leadership skills Works collaboratively to identify needs, plan targeted support, and monitor student progress Builds strong relationships with students, colleagues and whānau Is a clear and effective communicator within a team setting #J-18808-Ljbffr
