About the Role: Quantity Surveyor, Wānaka As Cook Brothers Construction continues to expand across the region, we are seeking a driven Quantity Surveyor to join our Wānaka team. This role focuses on sharpening expertise, taking ownership of project financials, and advancing a career while contributing to high‑value projects in New Zealand. What You'll Do: Lead cost control and budget management, driving efficiency and project success. Prepare forecasts, financial reports, and manage sub‑trade packages and tenders. Assess progress claims and variations with precision and strategic insight. Build and nurture strong relationships with project teams, clients, and stakeholders. Collaborate across disciplines to solve challenges, unlock opportunities, and support team growth. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who wants to expand expertise, step into a leadership mindset, and make a real impact on growing, high‑profile projects. About You: With at least 5 years’ experience in New Zealand Commercial Construction, you thrive on being involved in projects from start to finish, and you truly understand the value of clear, consistent communication. You will also bring: Proven experience delivering high‑value commercial projects in New Zealand. Relevant diploma or degree in a related field; strong commercial acumen and experience managing costs throughout the project lifecycle. Excellent teamwork and communication skills, collaborating effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders. Permanent New Zealand work rights.
