Graduate Field Service Engineer - Auckland, NZ

Field Service Engineer We are looking for a motivated Field Service Engineer to join our team of high‑performing, passionate professionals. You will be at the heart of Agilent’s customer experience—delivering service excellence that sets us apart in the industry. Responsibilities Installation, configuration, and commissioning of advanced Agilent instrumentation (LC, LC/MS, GC, GC/MS, Atomic Spectroscopy systems, and more). Performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure optimal instrument performance. Advising clients on best practices, configurations, and service plans to improve performance and reliability. Be involved in complex, multimillion‑dollar instrument deployments in laboratory environments. Provide application‑level support and training to customers (long‑term). Qualifications Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or related scientific discipline. Up to 1–2 years of professional experience (including internships, part‑time, or graduate roles). Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills with a genuine interest in resolving technical issues. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; communicates clearly, respectfully, and in a timely manner. Enjoy working directly with customers and supporting them while demonstrating technical expertise. Willingness and ability to travel frequently, with enthusiasm for visiting customers both locally and interstate. Post‑graduate certification or license may be required.
