The role We have an exciting opportunity for a Spare Parts Coordinator to join our South Island Service team and be supported by great training and shared expertise across the business. Reporting to the Parts Distribution Centre Manager and working within the Parts team, you’ll be responsible for supporting the efficient and effective daily operations of our Christchurch Parts Store in the supply of parts South Island wide. The role is primarily focused on supporting the Parts Store with picking and dispatching of parts orders, receipt of inwards goods, stocktaking and replenishing van and branch stock across the South Island. You’ll be responsible for picking accuracy and ensuring that the PDC is always tidy and neatly maintained to meet health and safety standards and ensure efficient operation of the department. Responsibilities Support the Christchurch Parts Store in ensuring efficient service to workshop and field service technicians across South Island. Support the sales team with orders to meet customer expectations. Action spare parts requisitions daily and prioritise back orders or urgent jobs. Assemble and occasionally deliver parts packages to field or site technicians. Maintain picking accuracy, inventory accuracy and keep the PDC tidy. About you To shine in this role, you bring a positive, solutions‑focused attitude, strong attention to detail and a drive to meet targets. We’re looking for someone with experience in a busy parts operation, preferably in the automotive, industrial service or manufacturing sectors. You should be a collaborative, supportive team player with excellent customer service and confident communication skills when dealing with internal and external stakeholders. Good time‑management skills and IT savviness are also required. Please note that a full pre‑employment medical, including a drug test, will be required and you must be legally entitled to live and work in New Zealand. A full NZ divers licence is required.
