We are currently seeking Coachbuilders/ Vehicle Refurbishes to join our growing team. About the job: This is a practical, workshop-based role for someone with a positive, can‑do attitude and good hands‑on skills. You’ll be working on the refurbishment and fit‑out of vehicles and bus interiors, as well as the fabrication of custom components for purpose‑built vehicles. What you’ll be doing: Refurbishing and fitting out bus and vehicle interiors, including panels, linings, seating structures, and custom fittings Fabricating and installing parts for one‑off and low‑volume builds to a high standard Working from drawings and plans to construct, modify, and install panels, frames, and components Carrying out cutting, shaping, and assembly work using steel, aluminium, timber, and composite materials Applying finishing skills to ensure a professional, durable result Working safely, supporting your teammates, and upholding Wade Group’s quality standard What we’re looking for: Trade qualification or equivalent hands on experience Transferable skills from carpentry, panel work, interior fit‑outs, cabinetry, boat building, or similar industries Confidence using tools and working with a variety of materials Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team‑first attitude Safety‑conscious and committed to quality workmanship Why Join Wade Group: Be part of a company that values innovation and craftsmanship Work on interesting, purpose‑built vehicle and refurbishment projects Supportive team environment with opportunities for growth Competitive remuneration and training provided If you take pride in your trade and want to be part of building specialist vehicles that protect, serve, and support New Zealand, we want to hear from you.
