We are seeking a talented and driven Radio Frequency (RF) Communication & Networks Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the end‑to‑end integration and testing of complex RF and network systems. You will collaborate with hardware and software engineers to ensure seamless system functionality and optimize performance. Responsibilities System Integration: integrate RF subsystems, networking components, and software applications into cohesive, functional systems. Testing and Validation: develop and execute comprehensive test plans to validate system performance, functionality, and compliance with specifications. Troubleshooting and Debugging: identify and resolve integration issues, performance bottlenecks, and hardware/software conflicts. Network Configuration: configure and optimize network devices, protocols, and security settings. RF Performance Analysis: conduct RF measurements, analyze data, and optimize system parameters to achieve desired performance. Documentation: create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including integration procedures, test reports, and system diagrams. Collaboration: work closely with hardware, software, and systems engineers to ensure seamless integration and resolve technical challenges. Field Support: provide technical support during system deployment and field testing. Required Skills And Experience Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in RF and network system integration. Strong understanding of RF principles, antenna theory, and wireless communication protocols. Experience with network protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, etc.) and network configuration. Proficiency in using RF test equipment (spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators). Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash) for test automation and data analysis. Excellent problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks. Preferred Skills And Experience Experience with specific wireless technologies (e.g., LTE, 5G, Wi‑Fi, satellite communications). Knowledge of embedded systems and real‑time operating systems. Experience with network security protocols and tools. Familiarity with software‑defined radio (SDR) platforms. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). Location This position is based in Mount Maunganui, New Zealand.
