We are motivated by a collective desire to drive the legal industry to the forefront of innovation. Aderant is seeking a Technical Consultant to join our team on a 12-month Fixed-Term Contract (FTC). Key Responsibilities Implementation & Configuration: Deploy and configure Aderant products (e.g., Expert, Handshake, BillBlast, etc.) to meet client requirements; work closely with business analysts and project managers to translate functional specifications into technical solutions; perform system installations, upgrades, integrations, and customizations. Client Engagement: Act as a technical liaison between clients and internal teams; provide guidance, best practices, and training to ensure clients maximize value from Aderant solutions; troubleshoot and resolve client-reported issues in a timely manner. Support & Maintenance: Provide post-implementation support and ongoing system maintenance; identify and elevate complex issues to senior consultants or product engineering teams; ensure compliance with security and data protection standards. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). Technical Skills: Strong SQL development and database administration experience; familiarity with .NET, C#, XML, Web Services, and scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, etc.); knowledge of ERP/financial systems, preferably in the legal or professional services sector; experience with reporting tools (SSRS, Power BI, Crystal Reports); familiarity with Azure, cloud platforms, or SaaS environments is a plus. Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills; strong customer-service orientation with the ability to manage client expectations; ability to work independently and as part of a global, distributed team; project management or consulting experience is an advantage. Travel Requirements Willingness to travel occasionally (domestic and/or international), depending on client needs and project assignments. Why Join Aderant?
