Foreman Carpenter We're looking for an experienced Foreman Carpenter to join a bridge construction project in Napier. This is a hands‑on leadership role suited to someone with a strong formwork background who can lead from the front, maintain high safety standards, and keep crews productive on a busy civil infrastructure project. Location: Napier, Napier Start date: Immediate start Pay rate: $35–$38 per hour, paid weekly What you'll be doing Leading carpentry crews on bridge construction works Managing and coordinating daily site activities Constructing and overseeing complex formwork systems Reading and interpreting plans and specifications Maintaining productivity, quality, and safety standards Working closely with site management and subcontractors Supporting concrete pours and associated civil works What we're looking for Proven experience as a Foreman Carpenter Strong background in civil construction and formwork NZQA Rigging Unit Standard 30072 NZQA Slinging Unit Standard 3789 Ability to lead crews and manage site workflows Strong understanding of health and safety requirements Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills Reliable transport and commitment to site expectations Pass a pre‑employment drug test What's in it for you?
