Collaborate with manufacturing and distribution teams to manage orders efficiently and provide customers with delivery updates. Receive, validate, and process customer orders accurately, with attention to detail, ensuring excellent service and adherence to the Motion Welding Process – compliant with ASME IX Standard. Weld, assemble, and test hoses to customer specifications, maintaining detailed testing records. Promote and maintain a safe working environment according to OSH requirements and company policy. Manage workshop stock levels efficiently and ensure timely servicing and repairs of equipment such as pumps and reels. Monitor job costings to ensure accuracy and customer satisfaction. Utilize various hose assembly techniques including hydraulic crimping and TIG welding of stainless‑steel parts. Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with specifications and regulations. Maintain professional, clear, and appropriate communication with internal and external customers, delivering polite and respectful service. Attend training and development sessions as directed and assist other staff to provide exceptional customer service. Ideal Skills & Experience Comply with Motion Australia Policies (e.g., Code of Conduct, D&A Policy) and actively promote a safe working environment per OSH requirements. Trade qualified with proven stainless‑steel TIG and purge welding experience; basic lathe skills and ability to interpret engineering drawings. Experience in a manufacturing environment; forklift licence is advantageous; full and current driver’s licence required for travel between branches. Strong written and verbal communication skills; maintain professional, positive, and team‑based internal and external relationships.
