Stockman position | Taupiri Holdings Limited Category: Sheep and Beef Location: Waikato Farm: 1300 ha coastal cattle fattening farm on the west coast south of Raglan; part of a wider diverse farming business. We are looking for a self‑motivated reliable person to join our team. The successful applicant will be involved in the day‑to‑day running of an intensive dry stock operation. The applicant must be physically fit, able to meet the demands of the position, have an interest and enthusiasm to up‑skill where necessary (some experience an advantage) and be willing to work with dogs. Work safely, follow instructions, and work independently Grazing management in an intensive system Weed control Fencing skills, polywire and repairs and maintenance Water system repairs and maintenance Good eye for animal health Yard work, drenching, weighing, loading and unloading trucks Competency with motorbikes, side‑by‑side, tractors, chainsaw and willingness to learn A full driver’s licence and gun licence ultimately required Working dogs will be required. A three‑bedroom farmhouse is available. Salary package commensurate with experience. School bus route and 30 minutes to Raglan town.
