Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 CE Functional Lead / Functional Architect who combines strong consulting and solution design skills with the ability to engage customers, lead workshops, and shape successful business outcomes. This is a senior customer-facing role suited to someone who enjoys partnering with customers to understand their business challenges, define solution strategies, and lead the functional delivery of enterprise-scale Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement solutions. Working closely with customers, project teams, and senior stakeholders to design and deliver best‑practice Microsoft Business Applications solutions. You will provide functional leadership across the full project lifecycle, from discovery and solution shaping through to implementation, adoption, and ongoing optimisation. Key Responsibilities Lead customer discovery workshops, business process reviews, and requirements gathering activities Translate business requirements into scalable Dynamics 365 CE solution designs Provide functional architecture and solution leadership across Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, Field Service, and Power Platform capabilities Develop functional specifications, process maps, user stories, and solution documentation Advise customers on best practice use of Dynamics 365 and the wider Microsoft ecosystem Work closely with technical consultants, architects, and developers to ensure successful solution delivery Lead backlog prioritisation, solution governance, and functional design decisions Support data migration, integration, testing, training, and change management activities Build trusted relationships with customer stakeholders and provide strategic guidance throughout delivery Contribute to solution shaping, estimations, proposals, and pre‑sales activities where required Mentor consultants and support capability development within the Microsoft Practice Skills & Experience Extensive experience delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement solutions Proven experience as a Functional Consultant, Functional Lead, Business Applications Consultant, or Functional Architect Strong knowledge across one or more D365 CE modules including: Sales Customer Service Field Service Marketing / Customer Insights Experience designing end-to-end business processes and customer‑centric solutions Strong workshop facilitation and stakeholder management skills Experience leading functional streams on enterprise‑scale implementations Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies Experience working with Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar Agile delivery tools Understanding of Power Platform including Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Copilot capabilities Experience working within consulting, professional services, or Microsoft partner environments highly regarded #J-18808-Ljbffr
