Job Description
Multi Skilled Worker (Cleaner / Orderly / Driver) This permanent role is based at Wilson Centre, Takapuna and may involve negotiable part‑time or full‑time FTE for the right candidate. Responsibilities Cleaning of inpatient and outpatient areas, whānau accommodation, and wider Wilson Centre facilities. Orderly duties including linen management, rubbish and recycling handling, and meal delivery. Driving responsibilities, including transporting tamariki and whānau to appointments and supporting service transport needs. Working rostered day shifts across 7 days, including weekends and public holidays. Qualifications & Requirements Strong team player with a positive attitude. Previous cleaning experience. Demonstrated initiative, strong organisational skills, and ability to work independently. Excellent customer service with compassion and empathy. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Cultural awareness and ability to work effectively with diverse communities. Physically fit and able to meet the demands of the role. Holds a full, clean New Zealand driver’s licence. High level of sensitivity, discretion, and professionalism when working closely with children and their whānau.
