About the Opportunity We have an exciting Technical Sales Representative role within our Farm Source business based in North Central Canterbury. Working alongside an experienced and supportive team, you will build trusted relationships with farmers across the region, provide practical product advice and help customers find solutions that drive success on the farm. You will also support our Rangiora store, collaborating with knowledgeable teams to deliver exceptional service to the local rural community. This position offers the chance to further develop your technical expertise, strengthen your commercial acumen and build a rewarding long‑term career within Farm Source and the wider Fonterra Co‑operative Group. Build trusted relationships with farmers across the region. Provide practical product advice and help customers find solutions. Identify opportunities to strengthen relationships and support more farmers. Collaborate with the Rangiora store team to deliver excellent service. Further develop technical expertise and commercial acumen. About You We’re looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, is naturally curious and is passionate about delivering great customer outcomes. What matters most is your ability to connect with people, identify opportunities and build trusted relationships. Clean full driver’s license. Passion for working with people and building strong relationships. Strong communication and customer‑service skills. Willingness to learn and develop technical product knowledge and commercial capability. Proactive mindset and ability to identify opportunities. Strong organisation and time‑management skills. Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team environment. Confidence engaging with a diverse range of customers. Genuine interest in supporting New Zealand farmers and rural communities. Experience in agriculture, agribusiness, sales, retail, customer service, account management or a related field is advantageous.
