Lumsden is an affordable rural town located at the crossroads between Queenstown, Te Anau, Invercargill and Gore often described as 'The Hub of Northern Southland'. Lumsden School itself lies at the heart of the local community and enjoys good relations with the town’s Playcentre and Northern Southland College which are both located within a short walking distance.
