You will work within a diverse and constantly changing operating environment, providing day-to-day maintenance at our Blenheim plant with a mix of reactive and proactive maintenance. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for: Assisting with mechanical engineering research, design, manufacturing, construction and operations Maintaining machinery, manufacturing equipment, mechanical installations and facilities For this role, you’ll need: To be a Trade Certified Fitter/Turner/Welder Minimum 4 years Industrial maintenance experience, preferably in food production and/or relevant work experience and proven successes In Preventative and Reactive maintenance An eye for detail and identifying areas for Improvement Good time management, organisational skills and enthusiasm for getting it right With Talley’s, you get: Great working conditions Generous staff discounts and perks Work/life balance Opportunities for performance-based pay About Talley’s Talley’s is proudly New Zealand owned and operated, bringing the best New Zealand seafood and mussel products locally and to the world.
