Tradestaff Waikato is recruiting on behalf of one of our clients for an experienced Kitchen Joiner to join a busy workshop producing high-end custom kitchens, cabinetry, and interior joinery. This is a workshop-based role where quality comes first. You'll be working alongside an experienced team, building custom joinery from plans through to finished product, ready for installation. Location: Waikato Start Date: Immediate Pay Rate: $30.00 to $32.00 per hour (on wages), depending on your experience and references. What you'll be doing: Manufacturing custom kitchens and cabinetry. Assembling cabinets and joinery components. Reading and interpreting workshop drawings. Operating woodworking and joinery machinery safely. Cutting, edging, drilling, and fitting hardware. Completing finishing work to a high standard. Preparing completed joinery for delivery and installation. Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe workshop. What we're looking for: Previous experience as a Kitchen Joiner, Cabinetmaker, or experienced Joiner. Confidence reading and working from plans. Experience operating woodworking machinery. Excellent attention to detail and pride in your workmanship. Your own basic trade tools. Reliable, motivated, and able to work well within a team. Full Class 1 driver's licence and reliable transport. Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test. What's in it for you: $30.00 to $34.00 per hour (on wages). Immediate start available.
