About this role | Mō tēnei tūranga The Logistics Coordinator will support large‑scale educational studies by providing logistic and admin support to the project teams. They will liaise with schools, suppliers, plan and operate the testing schedule, ship devices and hard packs to schools, track expenses and raise payments. The role requires strong organisational and communication skills and a customer‑focused, problem‑solving attitude, ensuring a great experience for schools participating in the research. Responsibilities Provide logistic and administrative support to project teams for large‑scale educational studies. Liaise with schools and suppliers to coordinate testing schedules and material deliveries. Ship devices and hard packs to schools and monitor shipment status. Track expenses, raise payments and maintain accurate financial records. Assist project teams with planning and execution of study activities across NewZealand. Qualifications and Experience Experience supporting the planning and delivery of large‑scale projects. Highly organised and efficient at getting tasks completed to a high standard. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of building rapport with co‑workers and customers. Curious, proactive self‑starter who learns new software and processes quickly. Track record of delivering on commitments on time and within budget. Experience working on large‑scale education studies such as PISA, PIRLS, TIMSS and TALIS is an advantage. Willingness and ability to adhere to the Public Service Standards of Integrity and Conduct. Salary and Benefits Salary range: $65,801 – $79,195 per annum plus KiwiSaver. The successful candidate will be appointed at a salary which reflects individual skills and experience. About our Group and Team | Mātau rōpū ake The Educational Measurement and Assessment team sits within the Ministry’s Data and Insights group. The group manages all aspects of information management, from data collection and stewardship to analysis, modelling and dissemination.
