Mō to tūranga - About the Role: Chalmers Home provides Rest Home and Hospital Level of Care – this role works 64 hours per fortnight on a rotating roster covering AM, PM and Night shifts. You will work as part of an Enliven team in a peer-supported environment, where everyone wants to deliver great quality care to our residents and ensure they have a positive experience whilst living in our Homes. We provide weekend and night‑shift allowances and overtime rates to recognise the flexibility you bring. With a passion for the wellbeing of older people, you will be enthusiastic, patient and well‑organised, sharing our values of empathy, compassion, and respect, and operating with a person‑centred approach and high care standards. We are looking for someone you can offer the following: NZ Registered Nurse with a current Annual Practising Certificate Minimum 2 years’ RN experience, preferably working within aged care or with adults with complex health needs Confidence leading and guiding a team of Health Care Assistants Able to work independently if required (sole‑charge experience helpful) InterRAI experience an advantage (training provided) As a Registered Nurse you will benefit from the following: Progressive pay scale – $33.19 to $48.98 per hour – plus allowances/penalties. Full training and support in your role, with opportunities for recognition through our PDRP programme and encouragement of ongoing career development. Paid professional study days to meet the annual requirements of the Nursing Council of New Zealand. Reimbursement for Annual Practising Certificates for all regulated health professionals.
