Job Summary We are looking for an experienced events professional to step into the role of Event Services Manager . Reporting to the Head of Events, this senior role involves overseeing end‑to‑end event execution, leading a team of Event Managers, and taking ownership of ticketing operations across the venue. About the Role As the Event Services Manager you will work at the intersection of event delivery and client experience. Every show matters and no two days look the same. You will thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑energy environment and love the live events industry. What You’ll Be Doing Take ownership of the planning, coordination, and onsite execution of events at Spark Arena, ensuring every show exceeds expectations. Lead and develop a team of two Event Managers, providing guidance, workload allocation, and ongoing support for growth. Oversee all on‑sale requirements, daily sales monitoring, map builds via TM1, and post‑event reporting in close partnership with Ticketmaster. Act as the key point of contact for promoters and hirers, building strong relationships and ensuring their needs are met at every touchpoint. Coordinate front‑of‑house operations across security, ushering, ticketing, and patron ingress and egress to deliver a seamless audience experience. Play a leading role in safety planning, risk management, and compliance across the venue, ensuring all staff, contractors, and patrons are covered. Collaborate with hirers to identify and maximise ancillary ticketing opportunities, pairing the right products with the right events. What You’ll Bring A solid background in live events or venue operations, with a track record of delivering large‑scale events onsite. Hands‑on experience with ticketing systems, ideally Ticketmaster or TM1, and a strong understanding of on‑sale strategy and reporting. Experience managing or mentoring a team, with emotional intelligence to maintain morale in high‑pressure situations. A natural relationship builder who goes above and beyond for hirers, promoters, and venue partners. Strong financial awareness with the ability to manage budgets, staffing, and operational resources efficiently. A thorough understanding of safe work practices and relevant compliance requirements in a venue environment. Comfortable working nights, weekends, and public holidays, with adaptability to perform in a dynamic live environment.
