Learning Disabilities Teacher/Consultant - LDT/C - Part Time JobID: 622 Position Type: Special Education and/or Support Services/ Learning Disabilities Teacher/Consultant Date Posted: 7/7/2026 Location: Spotswood School District Date Available: 08/31/2026 LEARNING DISABILITIES TEACHER/CONSULTANT Qualifications: NJ Certification as LDT/C. Job Goal: Perform observations of student in other than a testing setting, review student's educational history, confer with student's teacher(s) and evaluate and analyze student performance and learning characteristics. Reports to: Director of Special Services Performance Responsibilities Administers scores and interprets diagnostic tests as part of the educational assessment of referred/classified students in accordance with established criteria and guidelines. Coordinates the implementation of student educational plan as recommended by the child study team, including, but not limited to: Assist teachers in providing individual instruction to identified students; Interpret results of education assessments to teachers, counselors, administrators; Consult with staff concerning special student needs; Submits periodic reports, including evaluation assessments as required and in accordance with established criteria and guidelines. Maintains a high level of professional knowledge concerning effective instructional and evaluative methods, materials and techniques. Performs such other tasks as assigned by the Director of Special Services or designee, consistent with the job description or professional certification. Terms of Employment Ten month year. Salary and work year according to current contract agreement. Salary Range: $27,500 - $48,250 commensurate with experience.
