Social Media Manager Opes Partners NZ Ltd Salary: $80,000 – $85,000 gross per annum (experience dependant) Office: Auckland CBD Hours: Full time (37.5 hours) Start: June 2026 (FIXED TERM 12 MONTHS) At Opes, we help everyday Kiwis build wealth through property - and we need someone exceptional to help us tell that story online. We're looking for a savvy Social Media Manager to own and grow our organic social presence across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok. This is a creative, data-driven role where you'll shape content strategy, stay ahead of trends, and keep our audience engaged, informed, and coming back for more. We’ve already grown our social media to 32,000 followers on Instagram, 40,000 subscribers on YouTube, and 20,000 followers on TikTok. Your job is to help us grow even further. Key responsibilities include: Building and managing a content calendar 2–4 weeks ahead across all channels Developing and scripting fresh content ideas and taking them through for sign-off Filming, editing and producing engaging video content (yes, you'll be behind the camera) Repurposing content across channels - from podcasts to posts, we want it all working together Staying on top of platform trends, algorithm changes, and what's cutting through Producing regular reports and using the data to shape what we do next Working with our Head of Marketing on strategic direction - content pillars, platform mix, and what's next Pitching in on EDM’s, website updates, and other marketing activity as the role evolves Operating within compliance requirements relevant to financial services content What we’re looking for This role suits someone who is organised, trend-aware, and confident bringing ideas to the table - and equally confident rolling with feedback. You’ll have: 3–5 years in a social media role (agency or in-house both welcome) Hands‑on experience creating content for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok Strong videography (iPhone is fine), editing and content creation skills A data‑driven mindset - you know your metrics and use them to make decisions Strong tech skills and comfort across social platforms and scheduling tools A marketing degree or equivalent experience (desirable) Solid understanding of compliance considerations in content creation Just as important is how you show up You're personable, engaging, and a genuine team player - working well with a range of personalities You're forward‑thinking, adaptable, and not easily thrown off You share ideas confidently and take feedback in your stride You're tenacious and resilient - you go after what you want and you get it done Why join Opes?
