We're looking for an inspirational and motivated leader to take on the exciting opportunity as a full-time Team Coach in Wellington. This role involves overseeing a six‑bed Residential Recovery Service for older adults with existing mental health challenges. You’ll lead a capable team of Support Workers, while collaborating with health and community providers to ensure seamless, connected support for older adults and their whānau. Responsibilities As the Team Coach, you’ll play a vital role in shaping the future of our service. Your responsibilities will include: Lead staff through regular individual coaching, recruitment, professional development, and performance management. Build meaningful partnerships within the service and across primary, secondary, and community care Act as an exemplary Tangata Tiriti partner, promoting equity and cultural responsiveness Foster a positive team culture where people feel valued, supported, and engaged Promote connection, inclusion, and independence for older adults living with mental health challenges and their whānau Report to the Service and Relationship Manager, receiving coaching and support to achieve great outcomes This is a permanent, full-time position. You will be working Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5pm. Based in Wellington. You will also contribute to an on‑call roster. Qualifications We’re seeking a Registered Nurse or Occupational Therapist with proven leadership experience, who balances clinical expertise with genuine connection and enjoys supporting their team to grow and deliver high‑quality care. Current registration as a Registered Health Professional (preferably Registered Nurse or Occupational Therapist) with current APC Proven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary clinical teams, ideally within an NGO or community‑based setting. Demonstrated ability to coach, supervise, and mentor clinicians and support staff Clinical experience working in mental health and addiction A current full New Zealand driver’s license A current New Zealand first aid certificate, or be prepared to obtain one A demonstrated ability and cultural competence in working with Māori, and understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi #J-18808-Ljbffr
