Class 4 Asphalt Truck Driver Drive. Tip. Pitch in. Build better roads. Tradestaff Hamilton is looking for experienced Class 4 Asphalt Truck Drivers who don't mind getting out of the cab and helping the crew. This isn't just a driving role, you'll be part of a hardworking asphalt team delivering quality road surfacing projects across the wider Waikato. If you're happy loading, driving, tipping, shovelling, raking and doing whatever it takes to get the job done safely, we'd like to hear from you. Location Hamilton (working throughout the Waikato) Start Date Immediate Pay Rate $30 to $34 per hour, paid weekly (depending on experience) What you'll be doing Driving Class 4 tip trucks to and from asphalt sites Delivering hot mix asphalt safely and efficiently Assisting with asphalt laying, raking and shovelling Supporting the paving crew with general labouring duties Carrying out daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance Following site safety procedures and traffic management requirements Working as part of a reliable, hardworking asphalt crew What we're looking for Full NZ Class 4 NZ driver's licence Previous asphalt, roading or civil construction experience Happy to spend as much time on the ground as behind the wheel Physically fit and capable of manual work Reliable, punctual and safety focused WTR endorsements are an advantage Able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test Clean criminal history What's in it for you Weekly pay Competitive hourly rates Variety of projects across Hamilton and the wider Waikato Full PPE provided Ongoing support from the Tradestaff Hamilton team If you're a Class 4 driver who enjoys being part of the crew rather than just behind the wheel, apply today.
