Work in partnership with other agencies, including our partnerorganisations’ in the health and social services space, to develop supportive peer relationships and collaborative service delivery. Lead a team who work alongside people who have housing needs and require support to achieve housing stability. Lead a team which: Provides support to people experiencing homelessness Works alongside people to identify housing needs and supports them to access housing options Supports people to sustain their housing to prevent homelessness and remain well. Has strong relationships and collaboration within our communities. Seek opportunities to engage staff through effective coaching and ongoing development while creating a positive team culture where achievements are celebrated, and people are valued. This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 5.00 pm. This role will be based in Manukau and involves working across South Auckland. You |Mōu An exceptional people leader and confident communicator and relationship builder Knowledge of and commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles and working with Māori Proven ability and experience in inspiring and leading a team effectively A Registered Health Professional: Social Worker, Nurse, Occupational Therapist, etc. An understanding of the mental health system and sector within the Auckland region, including the NGO and community sector. The knowledge and experience to support staff who choose to work using Te Ao Maori frameworks Excellent written and verbal communication Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills An understanding of and the ability to apply the principles of wellness and recovery A tertiary qualification in a relevant field and/or experience in a similar role.
