Job Openings Assistant Accountant (Permanent, Part-time) - Central Auckland About the job Assistant Accountant (Permanent, Part-time) - Central Auckland Job Title: Part-time Assistant Accountant (Permanent) Responsibilities Provide support to the Firm Accountant by completing basic bookkeeping and accounting tasks. Tasks include creditors processing, payroll data collection, Xero maintenance, and general invoicing. Manage invoices for Tenants and handle associated queries. Administer Trust Accounts and conduct end reporting with reconciliations. Work Arrangement Newly created part-time role (16 hours per week across two days), with potential for a hybrid working arrangement after training. Initially office-based, not fully remote. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience as an Assistant Accountant with exposure to Accounts Payable management systems. Intermediate MS Office skills, especially in Excel, with high attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to build team relationships.
