Geotechnical Engineer

Geotechnical Engineer, Auckland This position offers great opportunities to be part of our team working on a variety of exciting large infrastructure projects. Based in Auckland, your core role is to provide advice in the field of Geotechnical Engineering. You will provide investigations, analysis, design and reporting, and construction observation working alongside our talented Ground Engineering teams across Aotearoa. Provide consultancy services in Geotechnical Engineering for buildings, bridges, tunnelling, water and transportation projects. Contribute to the success of our Earth business by providing technical advice. Have recent relevant experience and proven ability in design of deep and shallow foundations and retaining walls. Design experience in ground improvement an advantage. About You A minimum of a tertiary qualification in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering. Minimum of 4 years’ consultancy professional experience. Approaching or Achieved Professional Engineering (CPEng) status. Experience in relevant geotechnical software. Ability in numerical modelling and an understanding of soil–structure interaction an advantage.
