Job Description As part of the Inwards Locals Team, you’ll be at the frontline of processing incoming local stock, ensuring it’s unloaded, checked, receipted, and ready to go. This role offers a variety of hands‑on tasks in a fast‑paced and supportive environment. What You’ll Be Doing Unpacking cartons (1 kg–20 kg) Scanning and sorting stock by barcode Using RF scanners to track items Assisting with closing, labelling, and prepping stock for the floor Operating pallet jacks, box cutters, and strapping machines Bulk picking and managing stock locations Adapting to changing priorities throughout the day This is a fixed‑term position until February 2027. Schedule Monday – Friday 6:00 am – 2:30 pm Pay $30.28 per hour Please note: This role is to support our Peak Period through to February 2027. As it is our busiest time of the year, we are unlikely to be able to approve any extended leave across this period including around Christmas and New Years (we do not work public holidays). Qualifications What We’re Looking For Physically fit and comfortable on your feet all day Can lift and handle stock with care and accuracy Has great attention to detail and strong time‑management skills Enjoys solving problems and working in a fast‑moving environment Can communicate clearly and works well both independently and in a team Has previous warehouse/distribution experience (helpful, but not essential) To be considered for this role, you must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand.
