We are seeking a collaborative and effective educational leader to join our senior leadership team as Assistant Principal. Following the appointment of our Deputy Principal to the Principal role, we have reviewed our leadership structure to strengthen leadership across our kura. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the next stage of our school's development while working alongside a committed leadership team. This Assistant Principal role has a strong focus on English Language Learners, learning support, inclusive practice, priority learners, and accelerating student achievement. The successful applicant will lead school-wide systems for ELL, support and coach the SENCO, strengthen learning support and intervention programmes, promote inclusive practice, and use evidence to improve outcomes for learners. The role includes a teaching component, to be confirmed as part of the final leadership structure. We are looking for someone who: is an experienced and effective educational leader with strong classroom practice has expertise in ELL, learning support, inclusion, or acceleration can coach and support teachers, support staff, and leaders uses evidence to drive improvement and strengthen student outcomes builds positive relationships with students, staff, whānau, and external agencies is organised, collaborative, culturally responsive, and committed to inclusive practice.
