Job Description
The Scholarships and Scholar Development Team is an integral part of Graduate Research School and Ethics, a central support service of Massey University led by the Dean, Research. We are seeking to fill two roles for the position of Scholarships Advisor; one permanent position and one 12-month fixed term maternity leave cover. Both these positions are full-time based on the Manawatu campus in Palmerston North. Mo tenei turanga mahi | About the role The Scholarships Advisor operationally facilitates the development, selection and awarding of scholarships at Massey University for undergraduate and postgraduate students, ensuring effective and efficient administrative processes. The Scholarships Advisor provides advice and communication to students and internal and external stakeholders across the lifecycle of the scholarship to ensure optimal value and alignment with the strategic objectives of the University. Mou | About you You're an experienced and highly organised administrator, ideally with a background in student administration within a tertiary environment. You thrive in fast-paced, high-output teams and have a proven ability to juggle multiple projects while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. With a solid understanding of administrative processes, you bring both flexibility and maturity to navigate competing priorities with ease. You're confident using the Microsoft Office suite and quickly adapt to new systems, while your strong customer service mindset ensures a positive experience for all stakeholders.
