Registered Nurse - Paediatric Ward Location: Timaru Hospital Employment Type: Permanent, Part Time (0.8 FTE) About the Role We are inviting an experienced Paediatric Nurse to join our team. The role involves caring for neonates and sick newborns in our Special Care Nursery, and for children from newborn to teenager in the general Paediatric Ward, both medical and surgical. The department includes a new Neonatal Nursery and transitional care beds that allow neonates to stay with their mother, keeping families together and moving them closer to home. Responsibilities Provide nursing care for neonates and sick newborns in the Special Care Nursery. Deliver care for children from newborn to teenager in the general Paediatric Ward (medical and surgical). Manage the new Neonatal Nursery and transitional care beds, ensuring families are supported and reunited. Qualifications Registered Nursing licence. NZ experience in Pediatric and/or Neonatal Nursing. Passion for working with children and infants.
