About the role Stellar Recruitment is collaborating with one of New Zealand’s premier mechanical and HVAC solutions providers. They specialize in the design, installation, and maintenance of complex piping systems for large-scale commercial and industrial clients across Auckland. We are looking for a skilled Pipefitter who takes pride in high-quality workmanship and system integrity. Benefits Competitive rates: $32–$38 per hour + 8% holiday pay + Kiwisaver Consistency: Monday–Friday work with overtime opportunities Ease of pay: Reliable weekly pay cycle Progression: Opportunity to work on iconic Auckland developments and grow into leadership roles Duties Installing and fitting commercial piping systems (chilled water, condenser water, and steam) Working from technical blueprints and ISO drawings to ensure precise installation Measuring, cutting, threading, and bending pipes to required specifications Utilizing various joining methods including welding, brazing, threading, and Victaulic grooving Pressure testing systems to ensure safety and compliance with NZ standards Collaborating with site managers to meet strict project deadlines Skills & Experience Proven experience as a Commercial/Industrial Pipefitter Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings Valid Site Safe Passport (or willingness to obtain one immediately) Current NZ Working Rights Reliable transportation and your own basic hand tools Strong commitment to NZ Health & Safety practices About Stellar Recruitment Stellar Recruitment currently operates in Australia and New Zealand.
